Bret Evers, M.D., Ph.D.
Head of Academic Affairs
Dr. Evers is a distinguished anatomic pathologist and educator who advocates for the vital role of PAs in patient care. Through clinical expertise and strategic collaboration, he leads educational initiatives that advance the profession across Texas.
Reilly T. McAfee, JD
Chief Legal counsel
A Texas-licensed trial attorney and the founder of Reilly T. McAfee PLLC, Reilly brings extensive litigation experience in commercial law, corporate advisory, and risk management. His deep legal expertise across both state and federal courts makes him a highly analytical asset capable of guiding corporate governance, compliance, and strategic board decisions.

With over 20 years of experience in pathology, Carol Beth Taylor leverages her deep clinical management expertise to champion mentorship and professional advancement for PAs throughout Texas.
Heather Blakley, MS, PA(ASCP)

Heather is an ASCP-certified Pathologists' Assistant who combines laboratory experience with a passion for teaching. She plays an active role in medical education, helping guide and train pathology residents at Children's Hospital Dallas, and acting as preceptor to UTMB P.A. students.

As the Gross Room Supervisor and Lead P.A. at UTSW, Hollis leverages her clinical expertise and leadership acumen to build a collaborative professional community for Pathologists’ Assistants in Texas.
